Implementation of a New Refrigeration Unit on Air Liquide Site in Fos-Tonkin.
In 2019, Air Liquide implemented new facilities to independently produce the refrigerants needed by its own activities.
This investment is the fulfilment of a project which was launched in late 2016. It reduces the dependency of Air Liquide to the neighboring LNG terminal activities.
Fos Tonkin’s Air Liquide unit produces oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and compressed air for industrialists in the region.
Depending on the customers’ consumption profile, these industrial gases are supplied in pipes, tank trucks or bottles.
