Alstom formalised in early April 2021 the acquisition of Helion Hydrogen Power. Until now, Helion was an Areva SA’s subsidiary located in Aix en Provence in Arbois technopole. The SME is a qualified member of PIICTO since 2017 and it’s specialised in high power fuel cell. This new Alstom entity will support the group’s projects, including the development and the deployment of hydrogen trains.
