The National Conference for Industrial and Territorial Ecology took place in La Rochelle (France) on May 20-21st, 2019.

A Workshop entitled ” Industrial and Territorial Ecology Approach to Industrial Ports and Fatal Heat” was co-animated by N. Mat (PIICTO) and T. Gourdon (ADEME). It allowed sharing of experiences between participants (companies, communities, port authorities, etc.) involved in industrial ecology approaches implemented in different French port territories (Dunkirk, Le Havre, La Rochelle, Nantes- Saint-Nazaire, Marseille-Fos, Strasbourg, etc.).

Several common subjects of interest were identified (including CO2 capture and recovery, waste heat, PPRT / economic development, etc.), prefiguring the next meetings of this community of actors.
