On September 11-12th, 2019, Marseille-Provence territory participated to the Belt and Road Summit in Hong Kong generate interest among Chinese investors in Provence.

China is an important axis of development in the economic attractiveness strategy of Provence. A delegation of representatives from Marseille-Provence airport, Euroméditerranée, Port of Marseille-Fos, PIICTO, Provence Promotion, CMA-CGM, Ceva Logistics and STMicroelectronics became the territory’s ambassadors to Chinese investors at the BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) summit. The delegation participated to several meetings and presentations. The event brought together nearly 5,000 participants from 67 different countries and regions.

Aix-Marseille-Provence has many attractive assets to be a part of the growth strategy led by China at an international scale.
