During the Entrepreneurs' Forum in Marseille in September 2021, the President of the PIICTO association spoke in a workshop on the industrial and maritime activities of tomorrow in the port territory.
The order for two new self-propelled hybrid river barges (diesel-electric propulsion) was formalized by Kem One on the 17th of March, 2021. This will avoid around 2 000 tons of CO2 each year (cut of 30-35%).

It was co-organized by Marseile Fos Port Authority(France’s leading harbour), the partners of the European project Carbon4PUR and association PIICTO. The event gathered more than 80 participants.
EveRé manages the Multi-thread Household Waste Treatment Center on the PIICTO platform. It has just installed a third engine on its Fos’s site in order to optimize the recovery of its biogas.
